  1. “A Survey for Use of OTC Drugs in Gastroesophageal Reflux Disease” assessed self-medication trends among 300 participants. The survey revealed a high reliance on non-prescription remedies, with 70% of respondents self-medicating for symptoms like stomach pain and heartburn. The key output showed ENO (60.6%) was the most preferred OTC, and 7% of participants perceived these drugs as effective for symptom relief.
  2. “The necessity to bridge the gap between traditional prophylactic approaches and evidence-based pharmaceutical interventions demands a deep mechanistic exploration of novel nutraceuticals. Our research specifically targeted Beta-Sitosterol (BS), a phytosterol exhibiting significant in-silico promise against inflammatory cascades and malignant proliferation (MCF-7, IC50: 332.61 μg/ml). Critically addressing its inherent limitations, namely poor aqueous solubility and suboptimal pharmacokinetic performance, we engineered an advanced colloidal system: Beta-Sitosterol-loaded niosomes. This system successfully enhanced the drug’s dispersion and stability, culminating in the design and physicochemical characterization of a patient-centric oral soft jelly formulation, thereby establishing a proof-of-concept for the effective clinical translation of lipophilic phytoconstituents.”
